On Sunday, June 15, 2008, at 1:33 a.m., police responded to a shooting near 761 Jane Street, Toronto, ON Canada.
Officers located a man suffering from obvious trauma. The victim was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
It is reported that:
− two men sat out front of a pizza store on Jane Street, eating their pizza.
− the suspect entered the pizza store, then exited, and shot one of the men seated out front.
The victim has been identified as Claudio Andres Alamos, 19, of Toronto. A post−mortem was held Monday, June 16, 2008.

Appeal for information to help solve a violent robbery of a Mac's Convenience Store, 600 The East Mall, Toronto, ON Canada.
This video features Sean Sportun, the manager of loss prevention for Mac's Conveniece Stores in central Canada, and the Vice Chair of Toronto Crime Stoppers.
In the early morning hours on Sunday April 13, 2008 two robbery suspects entered the Mac's Convenience Store at 600 The East Mall, Toronto.
The suspects were armed with a knife and forced the 53 year old store clerk to turn over all the money in the cash register.
The store clerk panicked and had an anxiety attack while being yelled at and punched by the suspects.
During the assault, the clrk fell to the floor unconscous while the suspects looked on .. and then fled the scene in total disregard for human life.
The clerk layed motionless on the floor for almost an hour until until being discovered by a customer who then called 9-1-1.
Take a really good look at the images, especially the clothing worn by the suspects, and the red and white back pack being carried by one of the suspects.
These suspects are wranted for robbery and are to be considered armed and dangerous.
Investigating police officers from the Toronto Police Service Hold Up Squad are very interested in indentifying the suspects.

Toronto Police Service Homicide Squad $50,000 Reward On Tuesday September 11, 2007 at 12:05 pm, police responded to a stabbing in the Kennedy Road and Lawrence Avenue East area. Dineshkumar Murugiah, 16yrs, of Toronto was located suffering from obvious trauma. The cause of death was a penetrating stab wound to the heart. As suspect was seen getting into the passenger side of a mid 1990's, light blue, 4 door Honda Civic or Accord, which left the area at a high rate of speed. Investigators require the assistance of members of our community to come forward with evidence that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this stabbing death. The Toronto Police Service Chief of Police William Blair writes the following: "I am authorizing a reward of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) from the Toronto Police Service for evidence leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Dineshkumar Murugiah. Employees of law enforcement and correctional agencies are not eligible to collect this reward. The reward is payable in Canadian funds and shall be apportioned as the Toronto Police Service seems just. Claims will be recognized only when made in writing prior to the expiry date of May 21, 2009." On Friday, June 22nd, 2007 at 7:25 pm, four persons were waiting out front of the Christie Street Subway entrance, 5 Christie Street, Toronto, Ontario Canada. The victims were approached by members of a street gang known as the Latin King and Queen Nation.
An argument ensued with one of the victims leading to all four victims being attacked by the group of five Latin King gang members.
All five suspects were wielding knives and during the attack four victims were stabbed.
Varying degrees of injuries were sustained by the victims, the worst suffered by a thirteen year-old male victim. He has been diagnosed as suffering from "quadriplegic symptoms". He is recovering. Two suspects were arrested shortly after the incident. Two more suspects were arrested after pleas were made on Facebook and YouTube by Toronto Crime Stoppers for tips on their whereabouts.
A fifth suspect has recently been identified as 19 year old Leonardo Renato FRANCO. He is aware that police are looking for him, and has fled. His current whereabouts are unknown to police.

Toronto Crime Stoppers is seeking the assistance of the public to identify two suspects wanted for a violent Sexual Assault and Robbery.
The horrific incident occurred during the evening of Tuesday, February 19th, 2008 at a highrise complex in the Jane Street/Finch Avenue West area of Toronto.
The 45 year-old victim opened the door to the apartment and the two suspects burst in, both brandishing weapons.
The victim was bound, sexually assaulted, and then robbed of some belongings before the suspects fled the scene.
The suspects are described as:
#1. Male, black, 25-30 years, medium build, long braided hair, beard and moustache. He was wearing a heavy dark-coloured winter jacket with reddish trim and collar, a blue cap with white writing, a white hoodie, red sweatshirt, blue jeans, and light-coloured shoes.
#2. Male, black, 25-30 years, 5'11", black hair, beard and moustache, with thick lips. He was wearing a heavy dark-coloured winter jacket, white hoodie with a black pattern on it, black toque, blue jeans, black shoes with white trim.
Police are concerned and wish to stress that these suspects are ARMED & DANGEROUS and strongly recommend that you do not approach them, but call 9.1.1 immediately if you see them.
