why is the singers nickname fish

my dad was living in aylesbury in 1979 and he was introduced to fish by his mate snake, (no joke), so because of my dads figure at that time (bodybuilder), he asked my dad to be the bouncer, whenever my dad was at the door, fish would wear a
pentagram facepaint, if you dont believe me, find a way of contacting fish and ask him if he remembers curly and snake.
Also i think one of his song contains lyrics about my dad.
