never mind that trams have lower running costs and that new railway in scotland cost £80 mil as opposed to £115 mil for this, and never mind rail based transport is shown to attract more users, a busway is futuristic and new so it must be good!!!! right???????????

Can someone please explain the advantage of a guided bus over a normal bus? They both go on normal roads and need a driver, so what's the point of the guided busway over a bus lane?

Let's test the theory of this remarkable Scottish inventor. His experiments with lengths of rubber hose and a bicycle pump promise a transport system that should (he claims) be cheaper, quieter and much more flexible than metal wheels on a metal track. I think Mr Dunlop is a genius and that, if you don't agree with me already, you certainly will once this project is open.

All that work to take away a more conventional rapid transport system, light or heavy rail. Please note between Huntingdon & St. Ives and inside Cambridge itself they will be subject to traffic jams just like every other bus in Cambridgeshire and the Country.

Good grief. If you're going to post comments praising your own videos, try not to give the game away by writing like a PR person.

Don't know what all the fuss was about - I think the guided busway looks fantastic and should at long last offer a real incentive for people to leave their cars at home. Can't wait to try it out. Well done to everyone involved.
