The comments favouring Nuclear power seem to based on ignorance or ideology - or a lethal combination of both. Unless sponsored by nuclear lobbyists, there is no legitimate reason why we should have nuclear power in any nation in the world. I live in Australia which has immense quantities of uranium and any attempt by our Labor government to Nuclearfy the world with our uranium will be vociferously opposed.

Easy to take a shot at this party but they're doing the right thing. People will still be denying global warming when half of London is flooded. We've got to act now to save the planet before everything we know takes a permanent bath.

Revolt1848's nym suggests that he or she is fairly hard left, so I'm particularly surprised at the comment that Green Party is "right of the Tories". Would the Tories support:
* Legalisation of prostitution and drug use to combat the harm associated with black markets, trafficking and exploitation? * The Citizen's Income, which apart from being cheaper to administer and more generous, would enable people to reject poverty wages and unfulfilling or socially harmful activities? * The right to protest without prior approval, particularly the right to congregate in Parliament Square? (And which UK party stands up more for its principles through non-violent direct action than the Greens?) * Renationalisation of our rail network and absolute opposition to privatisation of NHS services? * Abandonment of GDP as a measure of human progress? |

the government are trying to control us, they should be scared of us not the other way round, the green party seem to be trying to give some control back to the masses however they need bigger balls and what the hell go ahead and outlaw religion, if someone doesnt like it, they can fuck of to italy or saudi arabia, because at the end of the day religion stops society being brought together, and removing religion is a holy war i would fight gladly in

Ahhh, Green party. Are you aware that our false government along with their greed-monger corporations suppress free-energy from the public? There's so much more. Like 9/11 was set up, surveillance is on the increase just as police states. They call it the New World Order and it's approaching very soon.
