LearnKirtan is back to posting videos! You will see a few changes for a short time. Im temporarily using a keyboard until I resolve my out of tune vaja. With our weather changes in the north (USA), vajas and tablas really get affected if we don't take care of our saajs. I know it doesn't sound as good. It's actually harder to do the tutorials on it. But once I get the vaja tuned, I will start using it again. I'm also getting used to the new editing software I just started using. I was using DaVinci, which was great and I highly recommend for anyone doing simple video editing. But the newest update was crashing the program and I couldn't resolve the issue. So I am now using Adobe Premiere which is a huge learning curve and definitely not as intuitive to use. That's my update for now. Waheguru ji ka khalsa. Waheguru ji ki fateh.

In December, we hosted our first ever workshop to teach asa di vaar in person. The 45 min one to one sessions were customized for each student. It was alot of fun! Looking forward to the next session in January. If you are interested in attending a session in the future, message me, and I'll keep you posted!

We have not published any new videos since November. One reason for this is we have many requests for shabads. But not many sevadhaars to help record. Most of these requests are newer shabads and not very easy for students to pick up. So we will be more selective moving forward on what shabads we will upload to the channel for teaching.

We appreciate all the feedback from sangat about the channel, whether you found it useful, or had suggestions for improvement. We have alot of content from simple akj tunes to gurmat sangeet reets in nidharat raag.
