Influences: All of my music is written in the landscape that inspires it. Sue Aston has appeared on professional classical recordings, radio broadcasts, and television, both nationally and internationally, and worked with eminent musicians such as Simon Rattle, Nigel Kennedy, Peter Donohoe, Yehudi Menuhin, Sir Charles Groves, Esa Pekka Salonen, Gordon Gilltrap and Chris De Burgh.

'Theme from the Forbidden City' for violin and piano by Sue Aston

'Fern Hill' and 'London River' for string quartet and voice by Douglas Cook, and 'Reverie' for violin and piano.

Other items include music for String Quartet, Trio, and solo performances by Sue Aston, violin, Douglas Cook, piano, and Maria Heseltine, mezzo soprano.

"The landscape of Cornwall, the sea, the folklore and the lifestyle here are all tremendous influences on my work and have been for many other composers" says Sue.
