Of all the movie musicals posted on my channel, "Flying Down To Rio" has captured the attention of a wide variety of both young and old. It appears that movie magic never goes out of style!

The musical numbers from "Broadway Melody Of 1940" are some of my favorites. In the segments I've posted, those that have special appeal are included. I may consider the ballet number with Astaire and Powell, however, posting the entire film is a project for the future. Thanks for your appreciation of this classic musical.

Thanks for your wise and thoughtful comment. I agree that the song "Feed The Birds" was intended to be a metaphor asking each of us to reach out and care for all that are unfortunate and disadvantaged. I received a comment from a viewer, which I deleted, ranting on about the song, saying that homeless kittens and people are so much more important than birds. She didn't get the fact that the birds were representing the kittens and people who are in need of help.

Thanks for your comment. I recently discovered that some episodes are now available on DVD. The copy here is from a commercial VHS release that included several classic shorts. More of the gang, those little rascals, coming soon!
