Hey! I got my Philco model 89 to work!!!! it's my greatest electronics achievement ever!! a video is coming soon about it, but youtube is not cooperating with me tonight, so it'll probably be up tomorrow.

Thanks for the comment on my background. Its a yellow w/red spatter LP called 'Christmas With Kate'. It took about 20 tries to get the picture right. I was holding it up against some track lighting at my house. Looks like an eclipse...and I love the run-out groove!

P.S. I don't know what's going on with my electronics hobby, it's suddenly turned into radio obsession for some odd reason. I really need a mentor for learning this stuff inside and out :)
