Hi everybody! I would like to invite you to join me as I start the journey through Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass surgery. I would like to provide support to others as I have found such great information and support from You Tubers. My process is different than others I have seen and I want to give you all a kind of "behind the scenes" look at my journey as it happens. My surgery date was June 30, 2008. I found a great program called The NEW Program, which provides the education, surgery, aftercare, liquid diet, vitamins, exercise and the support group I will need to succeed. My surgeon, Dr. Braverman is awesome and did a really good job. My surgery was done at Chapman Medical Center (I did not dig the nursing staff but my surgical team was fabulous). I'm very picky so you may not agree with my views but I am sharing them with you so that you will think about your own choices and questions you may have as well as alternatives you may not have considered. My views are expressly my own and I urge you all to find what works for you and be picky yourself! You only have one life so fill it with all the good that you can :)
