I don't think Christ exists, I'm not going to blame him for anything... ever. but when someone does something 'way corrupted' in the name of Christianity I'll blame Christianity. Just like I when someone does something evil in the name of racism or a country or a political ideal.
Nope, you misunderstood me. After the quote I was more going after the idea of what would happen if someone like her thought God told them to kill someone. As Christians throughout the ages thought they were instructed to do under the bible and how some extremist fringe group Muslims think they are meant to under the Koran today.
You are also a sinner, Jesus said so himself. 1."Going against wats good for your personal wants in no way a part of christianity!" Resisting temptation is one of the main tenets of Christianity... and do I need to mention charity? 2.Which branch of Christianity are you? (that has no tradition). Exactly what is a sin in your version of Christianity, if you have no laws? 3."we go by love and grace and that relationship with god. " Again the Krishnas say the same thing.
yay, someone got it.
I'm not bound to sin... unless Not being convinced by you is a sin. I don't 'long for sin'. And isn't 'going against what is good for your personal wants' a big part of Christianity? Muslims and Krishnas, also supposedly experience what you do with their deities. ie relationship with a living God, experiencing him(God is usually a dude for some reason), overwhelming feeling of love etc.

my point is this:

a common argument i hear against Christianity is that there has been in the history of the world, those professing christians who have committed certain attrocities. This is used as an argument against Christianity.

Very weak...by that logic we should ban butter knives because they are used to kill people sometimes...

just tired of hearing that stupid argument

"If nature does not wish that weaker individuals should mate with the stronger, she wishes even less that a superior race should intermingle with an inferior one; because in such cases all her efforts, throughout hundreds of thousands of years, to establish an evolutionary higher stage of being, may thus be rendered futile."[182]

This is from mein kampf....

I really have no idea what hitler actually believed...he was such a flake...

he used evolution, the church and government to his advantage whenever he needed them...

he was just a messed up individual

"Hitler knew next to nothing of evolution and never mentioned the scientific theory in any of his speeches."

Sorry, but that is a completely ignorant and uniformed statement...

"From the Preservation of favored races in the struggle for life' [that is, Darwin 's subtitle to Origin of Species] it was a short step to the preservation of favored individuals, classes or nations - and from their preservation to their glorification . . . Thus, it has become a portmunteau of nationalism, imperialism, militarism, and dictatorship, of the cults of the hero, the superman, and the master race . . . recent expressions of this philosophy, such as Mein Kampf are, unhappily, too familiar to require exposition here." - Gertrude Himmelfarb, Social Darwinism in American Thought, 196219

Quote "Got any evidence for that statement ? "

Yes, go and view the comments by the majority of "Atheists" on YouTube...especially when they're commenting about christianity or creationists etc.

you'll discover young man, what is in their sad little stony hearts by the filth that comes out of their mouth.

that's called 'evidence'....they incriminate themselves with the vomit they spew.

thus, i stand by my statement that 'Atheists' are the saddest, lost, deluded & bitter people on the planet.

the evidence is the filth & hatred that spews from their mouth like a gushing waterfall.

me: "sorry guys, but i am NOT a grandgrandgrand..child of a monkey. "

you "Sorry but your genetic code says you ARE. "

"Einstein also married his cousin. "

I have to respond here because i was blocked by ExtantDodo, he obviously doesn't like people talking shit about his 'critical analysis.'

The point to my response was stating some of the little heard about truths of Darwin, for the previous poster was saying how great a guy Darwin was. I must ask, were Einstein's children all as gimped as Darwin's?
