"In the end, the only way we can measure the significance of our own lives is by valueing the lives of others"

The Loves of my Life: My Husband and three daughters.

My heritage: Born and raised in the Netherlands to Dutch and Italian parents

My Hero: Nelson Mandela.

My favorite movie: The Great Debaters with Denzel Washington.

My favorite book.........for now: The Bush Agenda, Invading the World, one economy at a time by Antonia Juhasz, which explains in detail the horrendous attack on the Iraqi Constitution through implementing the Bremer Orders by the Bush Administration and the Corporate Coup of countries around the world.

My favorite hobby: reading about and debating politics and volunteering for Veterans for Peace.

My goal in life: to teach my daughters to advocate for the disabled and their disabled sister, human rights, stand up for justice, being tolerant of others different than you and advocating World Peace by holding our government accountable.

That PNAC thing does look a lot like fascism, but still fails to explain how the UK enabled the Bush Doctrine. Yes, their governments were complicit in the sense that the UK has rather spinelessly given in to the Bush Administration, but enabling seems like a strong statement, too strong. And, still, I am fuzzy on the idea that we were "conveniently ignoring the facts."

Hi.

Yes Nelson Mandela is a great leader, too.

Im a FAN of H.H. Sh Khalid.
you can compare them.
GREAT LEADERS GREAT PERSONALITIES.

Regarding: Obama.
first he has to show if he is really doing what he is TALKING.

To lead is not only sunshine !
Trouble, disappointements, unjustice, rumors...all this and more headache has to be carried out with passion!

I could fill your whole site with this.

SEE YOU.

While criticism of the U.S. is beyond justified, you both conveniently forget how the U.K has ENABLED the Bush Doctrine for example.
To imply that there is more resistance against this doctrine in the U.K than in the U.S. is ignoring the facts!

How so? What, may I ask, are the facts?

I am confused as to why you are confused that I am confused by your statements. But seriously, it is not the article, but more holistic than that. I don't understand the entire viewpoint you've been espousing since you mentioned that Bhutto said we should include 'radical voices' in the political process.

And, no, I'm not conservative.

Good grief, I don't like Palin at all.

I'm trying to understand your viewpoint. There's a difference.
