Thanks to all my YouTube friends for the great videos, and thanks to YouTube for bringing the world closer, and making it possible for oppressed people like the Kurds in Turkey and Iran to voice their plight to the world, in the hopes they will also be free like the rest of us around the world.

I am a peaceful Kurdish-American who believes that Peace is the only way to resolve conflicts and become friends, and that we need to build cultural bridges to know and understand each other.
Although I love my country USA, I still miss my beloved Kurdistan. I miss the colorful culture of Kurdistan, some of our traditions (that are real Kurdish not Islamic import), the peaceful villages, our peaceful and good-hearted people, the frsh air, and friends and family of course.
My dream is that Kurdistan becomes a peaceful, united and free country, where all live in harmony, and it becomes a country where people from around the world would want to visit and live there. I hope Kurdistan will join the other free nations of the world and becomes a good member of the world community.
Although for decades the Kurds have been persecuted by our neighbors who occupy Kurdistan (Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria), the Kurds have kept peaceful towards them, only defending themselves and asking for basic human rights. THE KURDS DO NOT BELIEVE OR PRACTICE TERRORISM; IT'S NOT IN OUR CULTURE OR TRADITION.
All the Kurds want is to be free and independant, and to live in peace. I think that is a basic and principal human right that everyone should be entitled to. Certainly, western people and some other democratic countries enjoy that kind of life why not the Kurds, who have one of the oldest civilizations on Earth.
Before the Kurds were forcefully converted to Islam by the Arabian sword, we were Zardashtis (Zoraoshtrians), a monolithic religion which some believe that Abraham was our first prophet. However, because of the cruelty of our neighbors (who claim to be Muslims), today many Kurds are converting back to Christainity, Zurastrianism, Buhdism, and Judaism. Today, there are several Christian Assyrian and Armenian churchs in many towns of Kurdistan. We also have Jews, Yezedis (Zardashtis), Armenian Christians, and other faiths in Kurdistan.
Because of our traditional Zardashti culture, the Kurdish society is one of the most tolerant and pluralistic societies in the Middle East, and the friendliest towards the West and its humanity Christian-based values.
The Kurds love people who stand for Peace, Freedom, progress, Justice, and True Democracy.
PEACE, EQUALITY, AND JUSTICE ARE THE ANSWERS AND THE WAY TO CONFLICT RESOLUTION, NOT STATE TERRORISM as practiced by Iran, Syria, and Turkey.

My Heros: My heros are not your everyday hollywood types, although I admire some of the artists, but they are rather the gentle peaceful types:
1) Jesus of Nazaret: The son of man who, as a carpenter, changed the world peacefully.
2) Nelson Mandela of South Africa-We all know and love him. He is a good friend of the Kurds.
3) Mother Teresa of Calcuta: She loved the poor unconditionally. The little lady with a big heart.
4) Mahatma Ghandi-the father of free India, a small man who stopped a superpower, peacefully.
5) Laila Zana of Kurdistan: The people's lady, who wants freedom for the Kurds peacefully, and confronts the Turkish Goliath without a gun.
6) Dr. Martin Luther King of USA. We all know him and his non-violence philosophy.
7) Vaslav Havel: Poet and leader of the velvet revolution of the Czeck Republic, and a good friend of the Kurds.
8) Gorbachev of Russia: He brought down the Soviet wall, and freed many nations from the Soviet occupation.
9) Yilmaz Guney: the Kurdish film director who filmed the struggle and suffering of the Kurds in Turkey, and died in exile in France.
10) The Amish community of Pennsylvania, USA-Peaceful people who truly live their faith.
11) The people of Bali-the truly peaceful people of Indonesia.
12) Charlie Chaplin.
13) Jalaladin Rumi, great Sufi Poet and Philosopher. A man of peace and love.

Music: I love all music, from all periods and nations, except for noisy heavy metal and punk rock. Sorry.
Books: I read them all, poetry, novel, history, non-fiction, philosophy, and science journals, except for fiction.
