Natural running makes you run, but it has many limiting factors. They make you inefficient, tense and injury prone. The reason is there is no conscious awareness of what you do to make you run. That goes for everyone. Running technique was hidden in plain sight just like Newton's what goes up must come down. Everybody looks at what makes you run but cannot see it. This 30 second test will let you see it as plain as the nose on your face. Run four steps forward and four backward. Here is what is seen. You drop your feet to the rear to run forward, and drop them far out front to run backward. You are off balance in one direction to go forward and off balance in the opposite direction to go backward. Your run is always off balance, and standing in place is always in balance.
