20 years as a freelance news and documentary video journalist. My work has covered the UK, Croatia, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Turkey, Russia, Serbia, Spain and the USA. Between February 2022 and March 2023 I predominantly worked on the war in Ukraine, covering regions in Donbas, Kharkiv, Kherson, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv and Odesa.

Nominated a finalist for the Rory Peck News Award for coverage of the Egyptian Revolution in 2011 and for coverage of the London Riots in 2012.

25 years writing news, features and comment articles for newspapers, magazines and online, including the Guardian, Herald Scotland, The Journalist , Big Issue and The Dart Centre.
