I can see I am in good company of ex-mormons. I have seen a few of your videos, and they, along with others, have helped me in my conviction that my leaving the church was the right thing to do. I was raised in a Calvary Chapel family and now I am back. Thanks for your work and God Bless you.

Anyone who tries to "measure up" to the church is doing whatever it is for the wrong reasons.. I learned long ago.. I'm not in the church to appease some of these fools that are a part of it.. Its about how I feel and how God feels about me. I left BYU because I couldn't stand how the "students" not the teachers would try to force the rules on you.. Clean shaven "NO Skateboarding" (I longboarded) and basic crap like that.. Oh I could still go to the temple if I did any of that and stayed at someones place past 2am, but I could get evicted and possibly kicked out of BYU.. The church did not set the BYU standards.. Some self righteous STUDENTS did. Because they want to feel above others.. Thats not what I wanted. Its the teachings of the church I believe and know to be true.. Not the people...

In response to the last comment made, it isn't anyone's responsibility to measure up to a Church, only to measure up to God himself. It seems to be difficult to measure up to both God and Mormonism.

I feel bad for those that are brainwashed by Mormonism. Not that other denominations don't brainwash, but with Mormonism it's way more apparent.
