OK this is it. I am sick of waiting.... I gave you time. And before I go for good I should probably tell you that the College Democrats page deletes all comments it doesn't want to hear. (such as mine and all other republicans) so don't think everyone likes them, hardly anyone does.
It was nice talking to you, see-ya. |

CONTINUED FROM BELOW.....
And when there time comes and if they are saved, they will have all the riches they could ever dream of in Heaven! Yes, heaven and God are real. My mom has a friend who has died 3 times because she had a serious deisease, ( spelling?) and on the 3rd time she was gone for 20 minutes. While she was dead, she saw God and he told her that it was not her time and sent her back. Now she is compleatly healed and healthy. NOW tell me that God doesn't exist... |

OK, I'm ready now. Lets talk about how you don't believe in God because of the starving kids in Africa. Those poor kids live in the poorest continent on Earth, so there is going to be starvation and other problems, BUT God can't come down, sweep up those kids and take them to a nice home in America. (Well, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie can, but that's another story. :-) ) That's why there are missionaries, yes, missionaries. Ever heard of them? Well, they go to these poor countries and take them books, food, clothes, clean water, and of course, the bible... these people of God try to make these kids have the best possible life they can in these countries.

Well, since you only really argued about global warming, I'll assume that's what you want to debate. (If you also want to debate evolution, present some evidence challenging it or tell me to make the first post.)
So, about global warming. First of all, you are far from correct when you claim only half of scientists believe it. The consensus of the overwhelming majority of scientists (in the field, or related fields. I don't care what a biologist or chemist thinks) is that, in fact, global warming is real and mostly human-caused. |

Second of all, as a way of starting this off, let me say that the fact that global temperatures have begun increasing at a greater rate in the same time period we have greatly increased our CO2 output can hardly be called a coincidence.
And I don't suggest you take a shorter shower or anything like that. The impact from something like that is so small as to be negligible even in the scheme of your personal carbon footprint. Driving and, more importantly, flying are what does real harm. That and using unnecessary electricity. But I really don't see the point of bothering as one individual. The government will have to step in... |
