It depends on what is meant by liberal. Economic liberalism is the cornerstone of so-called conservative politics. The greens, in this case are more like the conservatives than anyone else. And certainly the Liberal Party did little to assist the average Canadian in the short term. I will grant that they erased our deficit and attmepted to pay back the shameful deficits of the Mulrooney era, but even that is now gone (oh yeah, who erased the surplus?).I want to give the real left party a go
