Well, in fairness, that Americans come in for a hell of a lot of criticism all over the world, and George bush in particular is reviled.

The point about the hanging was not an objection to execution, it was an objection for hanging people because they were GAY. An 18 year old and a 16 year old were put to death, hung because they had sex. The objection had nothing to do with hanging people who have murdered or raped.

I assure you that whilst Gitmo is repellent and everyone, even Britain has demanded its closure, America does not have a worse record than Iran on human rights.
