I have a message for the young boys and girls who feel they are being cyber-bullied on you-tube:

There are many support groups and people you can go to for HELP. Do not suffer alone.

Dont forget: if someone posts a video that you feel is inappropriate: Flag it.

If it violates you personally, once you flag a video you can opt for the reason that it reveals personal information. You then fill out a form which YouTube staff will respond to. I know it may take them a while to get to it, but they will.


You deserve to feel safe when you are surfing the net and NO ONE has the right to intimidate you behind a computer screen.

Finally: PLEASE DO NOT POST INFORMATION THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE PUBLIC! Cyber-bullies will use your information to black-mail you. They may threaten to post it on public sites, videos and forums. TO avoid this: EITHER: choose private settings for anything you want to be kept between you and your friends OR DO NOT POST IT AT ALL.

I really care about this issue because I have seen Cyber-bullying in action and how it really affects people psychologically.

Remember: REPORT cyber-bullying.

People have been JAILED for cyber-bullying.

IT is a real crime.
