RJ Weyant / Team Splash Productions

In 2002 I started making short films with some friends in my backyard. I've always loved gory horror movies so I started doing my own bloody special effects and coming up with fun ways to kill my friends in movies.

In 2005 we formed a production team called Team Splash Productions, and from 2005 to 2013 we made a bunch of short films, mostly horror and horror/comedies, some action/comedies as well. 

Early on we started entering film race competitions, where filmmakers compete against each other to make a short film in a short amount of time, usually 24 or 48 hours.  Our first one was the 2006 48 Hour Film Project where we shot Advancement in Delay, and since then we have participated in over a dozen film races.
