I Am a Theistic (spiritual) Satanist, involved with the occult. I am an independent Satanist, but I donate my time to a few, select organizations. I use the philosophy of Satanism as a spiritual lifestyle.

My Name, VenusSatanas is a name that I have chosen as a 'magick' name. In some schools of the occult, and magick choosing a name is an accepted practice. The name itself represents a metaphysical ideal to me, from a Satanic perspective. I am theist and I do recognize the Roman goddess Venus, and her son, Lucifer. To me they are both deeply symbolic.

The name Satanas is the Greek version of the word "Satan", the opposing force. It is the combination of the finite and the infinite, the positive and negative. It is very symbolic of the Balance of Chaos and Order.

Another thing you all should know is why I spell magick with a K.... Some would argue that magic(k) should be spelled a certain way. I prefer to use the modern addition of the letter 'K' to the word magick as a way to distinguish the esoteric practice of magick from the mundane practice of illusionism.
