Since 1983 I have done a blues radio show on KNON 89.3 fm in Dallas under the name "Don O.". You can hear my show Friday from 6 to 8 pm central time at knon.org. I am currently recording video on blues bands in DFW for something I call the Dallas/Fort Worth Blues Scene Sampler Project. All with permission of the artists, of course. The goal of this non-profit project is to collect at least one video of all our local blues bands doing one original tune. I expect to have videos of more than 70 DFW blues artists streaming over the next 3 years. Many of these videos are also being streamed from the artist's website or myspace page, via youtube. All videos are shot live in local blues clubs in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.
