aka how one Iowa guy lost over 200 pounds and gained his life back. I can not say enough about how positively the Atkins Diet and low carb in general has been for me. I went from a 429 pound guy who could barely make it up a flight steps to a guy running half marathons and rejoining the National Guard. I wanted to put my Top 10 videos that every person just starting the Atkins Diet Induction phase should watch to be more successful. I am hoping that by putting out this video list I can send people to a concise listing of videos and eliminate a lot of the searching previously.

Slightly bad news arrived yesterday, I have been working with a bum shoulder for the last 4 weeks. It finally reached a point of annoyance to get me to go to the Sports Doc. I discovered that I have a small tear of the rotator cuff. I have more stretching and strengthening to do, but lifting can continue in the mean time.

I finally replaced my work profile photo. Every time I would see the photo on the left, I'd get upset all over again how far I had let myself go, and I would go to the gym again. It is amazing what 7 months and 80 pounds lost can do.

Video is done, and will be uploaded to YouTube tonight. I did three tests on whether or not this air fryer deserves counter space or not. I tried it out with frozen chicken wings, low carb chicken nuggets, and bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. As December comes to a close, I also wanted to post I passed 2 of the 3 APFT challenges last week doing 43 situps and 2 mile run in 18:21. I have been working with a personal trainer the last two weeks, so no weight loss. I however keep pushing at the gym and am lifting more weights. Another target is building core muscle groups, which I typically haven't done on my own. Video should be posted by tomorrow.
