It´s simple....stop using any and all telephone and cable companies that are for this, right now. If this doesn´t seem like a viable option, then the peiople get together and start new phone and cable companies that will not adhear to this. They don´t own you, you let them own you. When you realize that if pepsi or coke prices are to high and you stop buying it and then prices go down, then you´ll be a responsible american consumer who is not owned by corporate america
