Ever Wanted To Take A Trip Up The Old Steyning Line? Well Climb Aboard the Steyning Flyer As we Travel From Shoreham-By-Sea to Steyning.
This is my uncles footage. He filmed this on his way to Christ Hospital School and this footage was taken from an old VCR tape. Both my Great Grandads worked on the railway. 1 drove the Steyning Flyer and used to let my uncle have cab rides hense the cab ride scenes. My other Great Grandad worked as a stationmaster at Steyning Station.
This video was made in memory of the line. I will be making another video but not until late summer as putting this together took me ages. I hope you enjoy seeing what the Steyning line used to be like before it was taken away.

This is another species of giant centipede, a full-grown scolopendra viridicornis killing
This is another species of giant centipede, a full-grown scolopendra viridicornis killing and eating a mouse. Centipedes have very poor eyesight and this mouse was very adept at staying out of harms way so we had to use a long feather to help it out a little. I certainly would not have had to if I didn't have a large piece of wood in its habitat.
Note that the centipede is very ambidextrous and actually catches the prey with its hind legs first, and then doesn't bite it until it has located it's throat.
***I've grown very tired of reading posts from people, who, despite being outraged by it watch anyways, and then, in a fit of internet bravado cannot resist the urge to write some asinine comment. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
