Most of my work to date was accomplished with limited means, solo, on permission and a prayer. I think I capture the spirit. I have been flying under the radar until now. Now with YouTube, things have changed. For the better.

These works are for portfolio purposes only, to show my capabilities and promote these artists I am so fond of. This hatches two birds with one stone. If anyone feels heavy and has a legitimate problem with any video, send me a nice word and if you are right I will pull it.

I accompanied Mark Lanegan and Mike Johnson on their 1998 European and West Coast Tours. Album cover credits include Mark Lanegan on his 'Covers' album, Mike Johnson on 'ifeelalright' and 'What Would You Do', Caustic Resin on 'Trick Question, and Zeena Parkins on 'Necklace' (Zeena is the electric harpist you may have seen performing with Bjork).

There is a full length documentary in the works about Seattle based singer songwriter Eric Apoe.

There will be more music videos featuring musicians that I know.

I collaborate with my friends on short form art movies. And on longer pieces for Nick Shiflet's cable television show 'Shifterland'. And I do occasional wedding documentation. I like my friends.

For years I have filmed rock bands. I photograph shows as well.

Hundreds of my photographs on many many subjects beside music are on my website www.stanfordarts.com . I designed the website to read like a book.

I also paint in oils and in acrylics. Two different styles having one thing in common, vibrant color glowing with internal light.

My life is awesome, I wish I had more than nine of them. Alas I may die one day and I make the most of it. I have my art, my friends, and a sense of humor. The Swiss army knife of a happy life.
