Welcome to Friends of the Earth's YouTube channel.

Friends of the Earth's one-minute film competition 2008 is now open, in association with Filminute, the international film festival and competition:

This year we're asking budding filmmakers Which bit of the Earth are you a friend of? We'd like to see your passion for your bit of the Earth woven into a film. It can be anything from an animation or an action movie to a rom-com or a documentary, but it must be just 60 seconds long - no more and no less.
Your film will be judged by a high profile panel including Trainspotting Producer Andrew MacDonald and David Sproxton of Aardman Animation.
