I'm really rather surprised that a pastor who considers himself a scholar wouldn't take the time to become better informed--not only on the actual claims made by evolutionary scientists, but on the tenets of his own faith and the doctrines of Biblical inerrancy.

Surfing a few websites and repeating the claims made there does not an expert make. Claiming that more oxygen leads to a longer lifespan (when a basic knowledge of chemistry and biology reveals that oxygen is corrosive and that oxidative damage is a major contributing factor to age-related deterioration) simply demonstrates a lack of knowledge.

If you want to argue the issues, by all means do so...but, please, EDUCATE yourself first. That means more than visiting Dr. Hovind's website, or even Answers in Genesis.

Pastor James Kennedy did a sermon once on Mercy/Grace. It was the most powerful sermon that I have ever heard and I have heard many. Unfortunately, Paul and Jan Crouch were there so ownership of the video belongs to TBN and it cant be purchased. The message took my breath away and I wish I could see it again.
