Just wanted to share a Christmas video I created in 2005 for Casting Crown's "While You Were Sleeping". Think about all the things we let slip by while we have become so complacent in our lives.

EDIT: THE NOTATION FOR 3:22 AND 5:12 IS INCORRECT. (Instead of "up clockwise" it is supposed to be "up counterclockwise")
A BIG THANKS TO:
c0nfuciu5 who pointed this out.
Explains the insertion process of the corner pieces in order to complete the first layer.

An instructional tutorial for beginners which talks about the structure of the cube, notation, and how to solve for the cross. I will try to keep the total number algorithms to memorize to a minimum.
For everyone who is interested:
PART 2 should be coming out in a COUPLE OF DAYS.
Total Algorithms Needed So Far: 0
I just wanted to address a few things here...
1) A lot of people have been saying: "oooh, why can't you just peel the stickers off and put them in the correct order, etc, etc." Well, to tell you the truth, you're not really getting anywhere but destroying your stickers prematurely. (No point in that)
2) Some of you may be wondering why my cubes look so "wrecked", well, an answer to this would be as simple as "wear and tear"... over time, the stickers degrade and you have to replace them, simple as that.
3) There have been quite a few people commenting on the fact that I explained things a bit too "simple" as if I were dictating a lecture to a bunch of preschoolers. Well, I apologize if you already knew "the cornerpieces were in the corners" but some people honestly have a tough time with these concepts and I was doing it to help those people out.
4) The second step will be more complicated than the first, and I will have to begin to mention the use of some simple algorithms. (For all of those arrogant people out there who thought the first step was "waaaaayyy tooooo straight forward and unnecessary" you'll be pleased with the fact that the next step won't be as obvious...)
