Yes, fishing is one possibility. Or maybe, they want to see how many channels they can subscribe to. Either way, has anyone asked to go fishing yet? -Meghan

Jerry,

Thanks so much for your comment. I agree. You don't need school to be good at something. If you're passionate about it, you'll be good at it. Passion is everything.

On a side note. I'd subscribe to your channel. But I'm afraid you'll make me go fishing. :)

I wish you the best!

But I know what you're saying in terms of the government taking away our rights in general. We've had our freedoms and rights established as far back as 1215 in the Magna Carta, but recent governments have slowly eroded these freedoms - we feel powerless to stop because the government has such control over us, that is why Britain is the way it is right now - we really need to stand up, side by side, and to be honest, hold a revolution.

Well, it depends what you mean by self-defence. We're allowed to "use reasonable force as a proportionate response" if attacked, but you need a license for a gun, and for swords. I knew a lad who kept swords as a hobby so they're definatley not illegal. The police don't carry guns in most situations, people shoudn't need guns anyway, and I'm glad society has not yet got to that point. It's just a social attitude Britain has - we don't entirely share your view that we have the "right to bear arms."

Oh, and I'm not an actress no, but I'm flattered you think I might have been! I do occasionally dance though, and I did take part in a competition in the Old Market Square if you saw me there?

Yes indeed!. To be fair theres a small one going on right now. With the BNP people. It is indeed leading that way. We need to split of from the EU its full of mixed culture bullcrap. The Left-wing traitors are destroying the British nation and it is outragouse. But the BNP will win! people are starting to see the rubbish our country is turning into. No British values, Crime everywere the economey very low. Its pointless even fighting for left-wingers. Since they came in control viloence and culture has went down the pot. But forigeners vote for left-wingers so its hard at the moment.

Mr Brown won't survive because A) The party is at its worse ratings since 1968, B) Gordon Brown's own allies (the Backbenchers) are calling for him to resign and spark a leadership contest, and C) Brown himself has had to say on so many occasions that he will survive till text year - history has told us predictions like this from PMs always fail. The fact that he's even having to assure us he'll survive is bad enough.

Just talking to anybody on the streets of Britain will give you an idea of his popularity anyway. Generally, the mood is very low - people, the media, the opposition, etc. are constantly attacking him. The TUC (Industrial Union) have just voted to host mass strikes across Britain. FOr you in America, this wouldn't affect more than a single area, this is going to harm the whole country, and it looks like 2008 is going to be very similar to the Winter of Discontent 1979. Just google it to see what I mean.

Well for starters, Gordon Brown as Prime Minster was not elected. There was no election whatsoever to make him our leader, so to be honest, we didn't have much choice there. You've raised an interesting point though, and I'm sure you know politicians lie. Tony Blair (our last leader) once said before the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, that he feels thankful to lead a country that will never have to go to war, just like yours said "Iraq has weapons of Mass Destruction." So we think we've elected the right people, but when they come to running our country, they ruin it. There's no doubt Labour has done good things for Britain, but the war was a major mistake, and the election for Tony Blair was literally months before he invaded - so he renewed his 5 years in office before invading two countries in 2001 and 2003 respectively.
