"You know sometimes, life brings out its complications. It throws you, and you don't expect the curveball. That's what happened to me about 2 ½ years ago when I got diagnosed with diabetes. It threw my whole world upside down, right in the middle of a tour. And on my way to the hospital that night, I made a commitment to myself that I wouldn't let it slow me down.
