Thinking about what pitch could be thrown next. Was your swing low or high? Fast or slow? What's the pitcher's best pitch? Will he throw me a fastball with a full count or catch me off with a curve? It's an extremely mental game. To say otherwise is absolutely ignorant. Maybe in second grade you never thought about those things, but on a college/professional level you damn sure have to think about many things. 90 percent of the game his half mental, as Yogi Berra once said.

There's no need to insult a sport just because you probably weren't very good at it.

Haha, ok champ. Obviously you know nothin about baseball if you think there's no strategy. Baseball strategy is "in the moment." That's why it's a better game than lacrosse. You have to make decisions within seconds. Also, I'd like to add that it's one of the only American sports without a clock, which makes it far more intelligent than lax.
