The Sadist

Videos
Miss Olivia's channel proudly presents one of the most obscure and underrated cult classic thrillers of all time (The Sadist) from the year 1963.
Now even back in (1963) $33,000 for a film budget was considered extremely small and at first glance of the opening sequences,I figure alot of You might think that this is just another 60s shock exploitation film but You would be dead wrong and in My opinion such a small budget has never been spent soo well as in (The Sadist). This film stars Arch Hall Jr. whom at the time this was made was being groomed by Arch Hall Sr. as a singing film idol in the likes of Ricky Nelson and some others of the day but thankfuly in the midst of all the cutesy films,Arch Jr, decided to go against type and play one of the most psychotic villains in screen history. This film for years made Me afraid of roadside stops that led down narrow dirt roads and were out of the way and the atmosphere for this film was just pure intensity as it builds to one helluva nasty ending. I sincerely hope that You all will enjoy this far too often unappreciated trip into the realm of a diabolical psycho that is nothing short of astounding for the age in which it was filmed and for the budget it was filmed on. Ok and now the disclaimer "I do not own the copyrights to any materials found in this upload and it is not posted for any other reason but than for pure entertainment purposes, thankyou and leave this video up please". |

The Stranger (1946)

Videos
Miss Olivia's channel now very proudly presents a film noir classic from the year 1946 intitled (The Stranger) starring Orson Welles,Edward G. Robinson and Loretta Young.
This film is filled with dark and very stark imagery and all the trademark experimental facets of a Welles film and He directed this film in which He also stars in. We follow a story of an investigator named Wilson played expertly as always by the great Edward G. Robinson who works for the United Nations War Crimes Commission,Wilson is in search of Nazi War criminals who escaped durring and after the end of World War 2. Wilson's searching brings Him to a small town called Harper in Conneticut on the trail of a Nazi fugitive Franz Kindler and He is led there by a former Comrade of Franz but as the trail gets hot,the chill of murder insues and as always, one crime begets another and the tension builds steadily higher as room for error on Wilson and Franz's parts grows tighter. Loretta Young also gives a stunning performance as the newlywed bride of the suspect whom She cannot possibly believe is capable of the crimes that Wilson implies of Him and Her acting becomes sheer perfection in moments of subtle terror when She starts to believe it Herself. This film is tight and at times the tension almost feels claustraphobic and Welles directs it with a deep since of Good Vs Evil. I will not give away the end but I will say it is not to be missed and is truely one the more dramatic and darkly brilliant images I have seen in filmmaking. This film has for some reason fallen into public domain and therefore is free of copyright infringements to be posted here. I hope Everyone enjoys this grand classic as I very much enjoy presenting it to You all. |

The Terror (1963)

Videos
Miss Olivia now proudly presents (The Terror) starring and partialy directed by a very young Jack Nicholson.
This film is infamous for havving two of the greatest icons in film history together in the same place for one project,Jack Nicholson in His beginning moments before great stardome and Boris Karloff an already legendary screen actor in His later years of glory. The story leads Us on a very strange adventure of the supernatural kind as a young Soldier of the French army played by Nicholson is drawn mysteriously to a creepy old castle by the cliffs of the Sea by an equaly mysterious Woman played by Sandra Knight. The young soldier is soon brought into murkily dark domains of murder, ghosts, and just downright odd happenings, all centered around the strange but beautiful Woman and an eccentric Baron played by the late great Boris Karloff. Now this film is in no way an award caliber movie but it does have all the great elements of a Corman classic and is a lot of fun to watch and if for nothing else, then at least the pairing of a legend and one in the making. All that said, please enjoy this great Public Domain classic from 1963 and just grab some popcorn and a soda and have some fun. This film has fallen into Public Domain and therefore is not subject to the usual copyright laws and is free of infringement to be posted Here. |

Notice the good channels getting their accounts suspended lately? It's a shame, but they were uploading major movies that are obviously going to get them in hot water. You have a cool movie channel, and being a bit more discreet about it - lol!
