Looking back at the last 5 years - AMP7
As one Asset Management Plan (AMP) ends, another begins – and we’re looking ahead to deliver our proposed plan for 2025 to 2030, which will see us make our biggest ever investment in our network and other assets. We’re taking learnings from the highs and lows of AMP7, which was a challenging few years for us as a business. We’re recognising what went well, including our work to replace over 150,000 ageing water pipes, created 17 acres of new wetlands for wildlife to call home and provided over £260 million in financial support for those who need it most. But we’re also looking closely at what we need to do better. Our proposed AMP8 five-year plan includes record-breaking investments. We’ll use this money to upgrade more of our infrastructure, cut down on leaks, reduce pollutions and sewer flooding, boost biodiversity, better support customers and secure a world-class water supply for generations to come. All of this will help to create jobs and boost the local economy for 2030 and beyond. Find out where we are in our plan approval process at thameswater.co.uk/about-us/regulation/our-five-year-plan
