Two Grumpy Old Men Set 20
I have often been asked to show some videos of me playing along with friends, so at our weekly practice session, along with fiddler, Robin and melodeon player, Kevin, the three of us being known collectively as "The Three Grumpy Old Men", I videoed sets of tunes from our repertoire. We perform together from time to time at local care homes and at "Sight Matters" (formerly: Manx Blind Welfare) as well as playing along with others on a Monday evening at the George Hotel in Castletown. With Kevin our melodeon player busy at work, fiddle player Robin and myself recorded some more sets of tunes this week. Set 20 consists of two traditional Manx tunes: 1 Ben Rein y Voaldyn which translates as Queen of the May 2 Fathaby Jig which translates as Fathaby Jig. (Robin's joke intro)
