I have read Hall and he blew me away. Not only the Masonic themes but others as well. To say that the Lost keys or the secret teachings IS masonic truth is a grave mistake. Although much of his writings were pretty close, they were NOT taken directly from any lodge ritual as we know it today. Yes he was honored as a 33rd but was never a Mason. Hall nor Pike's M&D are preferred reading materials in the lodge, nor are Masons directed to read them. Only those who want to do so. What is your understanding on Masonry?
