Karen Read is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe, who was found dead in the snow in 2022. Her first trial ended with a hung jury. The second trial began in April.
He's accused of raping two women inside a store in 1989 in Framingham, Massachusetts. DNA led to his identification. He was finally arrested in 2024 after a car chase in Los Angeles.
