I play old school because I am old school.

Bass players who have influenced me: Alphonso Johnson, Carol Kaye, Dave Brayton, Duck Dunn, Greg Ridley, James Jamerson, John Wetton, John Paul Jones, Larry Graham, Larry Taylor, Leo Lyons, Mel Schacher, Randy Jo Hobbs, Rick Laird.

I have been playing bass and guitar since I was 15 but there has been a long hiatus -- now I am getting back to my roots. I also build my own guitar effects. I have been collecting electric guitars since the mid 1970's.

when your making pedals, is there a way to put like a DC-AC jack or something, so that the pedals dont need batteries and they can just plug right into an outlet?

Thank you so much for inspiring me to make my own guitar pedals. I really learned a lot from your videos.
